I am trying to build a better self, to move from survival mode to something more fulfilling. And resist turning this into a kitty blog.

It's that time of year...

Time to make the yearly eggnog. Do you like eggnog? I do. I love the store-bought stuff, all sweet and thick and creamy and tasting like every Christmas of my life. And I love the boozy, foamy, also-thick-and-creamy stuff I've learned to make in the last few years, that is a highlight of any December gathering, big or small.

These are the ingredients:

nog fixin's

It'll be ready this weekend. If it works out, I'll share all the steps and details. Yum.

Yum! I love egg nog with brandy. I'm trying to watch my calorie intake about now, but I may have to partake in some nog. I like it with nutmeg sprinkled on top.

I love eggnog! I've never actually had it with booze though. Sounds great! :-)
